Starting March 1 Callaghan Fitness Center will be open Monday through Friday 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Fitness Center will be open to all active duty, retirees, Reservists, and dependents.
Face coverings are required upon entry and throughout the facility, however, not required when exercising on cardio equipment. Physical distancing is required at all times. Locker rooms will open up March 2 for use.
Callaghan Fitness Center is a three level facility featuring two indoor racquetball courts, a wally ball court and full length basketball court. Amenities include in excess of 86 cardio machines, a 3,040-square foot free weight room, two selectorized circuit, rowing machines, Jacobs Ladder, Versa Climber, E-Spinners, indoor and outdoor TRX stations, group exercise classes, Spin Room with 38 bikes, core/flexibility room, outdoor functioning training area, running club and men and ladies locker rooms with dry heat saunas. Monthly incentive programs include 5K Runs, 1-Rep Max Bench Press Contests, Cardio Bowl and Cup, Push-Up/Curl-Up Challenges, 100-500 lb 1-Rep Max Club, Woof Walk, Indoor Triathlon and Outdoor Extreme Challenge. The facility host 10 scheduled Command PT, FEP, NOFFS, Mission Nutrition and CFL Instructor classes. A variety of Intramural Sporting events for teams and individual competitions, an outdoor seasonal pool with continuous open lap swim and swimming lessons for all ages.
